We had a great two days out with Sybrand Cillers on this worskhop at Oakfield Farm on a beautiful summer’s day.

The workshop covered on camera flash, off camera flash, sync speeds, ambient vs flash exposure, using pocket wizards, over powering the sun, turning drab lighting into amazing light.

Day one we started off with the basics (things like different types of flashes, hardware, light stands, triggers and modifiers). After lunch we moved onto the more technical stuff like camera/flash angles, working with the sun and multiple light setups.

On the morning of day 2, we moved on the more advanced stuff like high speed sync and how to manipulate the ambient light. We also did a demo shoot in the early afternoon with a model to get time to play and apply our newly found knowledge.

On the 19th of February, Desire & Ben-Philip’s wedding took place at Chez Charlene outside Pretoria. It is beautiful venue and it was a stunning day with no rain!  We really enjoyed being part of these very special people.  They are a great couple and we wish them lots of happiness.  Here are a few images of the day.

Teffo Seakamela - What a lovely place am definetely going to get married there wow.

What a wonderful day of fun we had doing Desire & Ben-Philip’s e-shoot at their parent’s home.  Unfortunately it rained the whole afternoon and most of the pics had to be done inside.  But with such an awesome home, great couple and lots of laughter, we had no shortage of great areas to shoot.  Here are a few pics of their shoot.undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined

We were very fortunate to be part of Richard and Sandy’s wedding on the 11th of December 2010.  They had a small intimate wedding with a few hand picked guests at a beautiful venue, Lethabo Estate,  just outside Johannesburg.  They  involved their kids in the whole ceremony and it was a very special and precious time.  Here is the photobook that we created for them.
